Denver April Events: From the Breaking Circle to the Easter Brewhouse Party

April in Denver doesn't ease you in. The patios are open, the calendar is already stacking up, and this month covers a lot of ground: breaking battles at Boettcher Concert Hall, six nights of regional mole, an Easter party with live music and dog adoptions, a spring send-off for the ski crowd, and a clothing swap at a women-owned tattoo studio.

Here are the events we’ll be at this month!

Move, Make & Create

April 9th, 2026 • 6-9pm
The Pearl, Rose Room Café

Artists in Sync is back at The Pearl's Rose Room Café, hosted by Bucky Grant. This one's got a focus: hand-sewn animal plushies. Kits to make a small cat, frog or mouse are available for $10 and can be reserved ahead or grabbed on the day.

If plushies aren't your thing, bring whatever craft you're currently working on, buy a drink and settle in. It's a social hangout first, a craft night second, and a welcoming room either way.

April 30th, 2026 • 5-8pm
Edit RiNo

A sip and shop in RiNo to close out the month.

Edit RiNo brings together local creatives, designers and independent brands for an afternoon that's easy to browse and hard to leave empty-handed.

Whether you're after something for yourself, scouting a late birthday gift or something for mother’s day, it's a good excuse to get down to the neighbourhood.

Food, Drink & A Good Time

April 5th, 2026 • 3–6pm
Ratio Beer Works (Overland Brewhouse)

A proper Easter Sunday with local music, cold beer and dogs up for adoption.

Colleen Milliken is putting together a local music lineup in the brewhouse while A Friend of Jack sets up a dog adoption pop-up on the patio. Food trucks Kid's Table Denver and Demi Tierra are both on site. It's a low-key afternoon that stacks up quickly, and the kind of event where you might leave with both a full stomach and a new dog….

April 7–12th, 2026 • 5pm–close
La Diabla Pozole y Mezcal

Six nights, six moles, six different regions of Mexico.

La Diabla is one of Denver's most interesting spots for traditional Mexican cooking, and this dedicated mole series is the kind of thing the restaurant was made for. Each evening spotlights a different regional style, and the $60 tasting experience is a proper sit-down exploration of how varied and deep this cuisine actually goes. Chef Jose Avila's approach has always been about telling the real story of Mexican food. This is that philosophy at its most focused.

If you've only ever had the Oaxacan version, there's a lot to discover here.

April 9th, 2026 • 4-8pm
Rocker Spirits, Littleton

A night at a Littleton microdistillery with books, local tattoo artists and a donation drive for the Humane Society of South Platte Valley.

Bring a book, get some flash, grab a handcrafted cocktail, and if you can, bring along some pet food, cat litter or a stainless steel pet bowl to donate. Rocker Spirits does events well and this one has a lot going on in the best way.

Donations welcome: dry or canned pet food, treats, litter, paper towels, hand sanitiser, stainless steel bowls, pet beds.

Community & Other Good Stuff

April 3rd, 2026
Boettcher Concert Hall

Denver's breaking scene has been building for years. This is it getting its moment.

The Red Bull BC One Cypher is taking over Boettcher Concert Hall for a 1v1 elimination showdown between the country's top B-Boys and B-Girls, with the top competitors earning spots at the National Cypher in San Diego. Host B-Boy Wicket leads the night with a judging panel that includes Denver's own B-Boy Data alongside Olympian B-Girl Kate and BC One champion Ronny Ruen.

It's a lot more electric in person than on a screen, secure your spot here.

April 11th, 2026 10am–2pm
Bang Up to the Elephant, Cap Hill

A plant-based brunch, a vendor market and a trunk show, all in one Capitol Hill morning.

Bang Up to the Elephant has just launched a new weekend brunch menu, and they're celebrating with a collab that brings food trucks, live music, vintage finds, handmade jewellery and vegan desserts to the patio. Hudson Hill is involved, which means the curation is going to be good. Come hungry, stay for the vendors, and support local while you're at it.

April 13th, 2026 • 11am-2pm
Meet @ Off The Bottle

A good reason to put the phone down and do something useful.

Off the Bottle Refill Shop is partnering with Hudson Hill Denver for a neighbourhood cleanup. Off the Bottle's whole model is built around reducing single-use waste, so showing up for the street is a natural extension of what they already stand for.

Show up, do the thing, feel good about it! Make sure to RSVP if you’re planning on going along.

April 15th, 2026 • 6:30-8:30pm
Berkeley Untapped

The last Gnar Nights of the winter season, and they're going full send.

This one has a theme: dress like it's Closing Day at your favourite resort. Retro gear, floaties, all of it. The night includes a free screening of Matchstick Productions' Seven Sunny Days, an open mic for your best "send it" stories, and prizes from Improper City, Sati Coffee Co. and Emily Locke Conscious Breathwork. After, the crowd heads to Berkeley Inn to keep things going!

April 25th, 2026 • 12-6pm
Glass Moon Tattoo, Wheat Ridge

New ink, a wardrobe refresh and a community of artists making a Saturday worth going to.

Glass Moon is a women-owned private studio just outside Denver in Wheat Ridge, and their second annual Worm Day is a full afternoon event. Six artists are participating - including Meg N, Ghost Ham, Spirit Flesh, Peachy Ansley, Electric Anna and Carly Tattoos - and there's a clothing exchange running alongside.

Bring a bag of clean clothes to swap or donate, and grab something you'll actually wear. Spring cleaning with better vibes.

April's a good one. Whether you're here for the mole, the music or the dog adoptions, there's a plan worth making this month.
