What’s Happening in Seattle This March
March in Seattle is when we all start emerging again. The group chats wake up, the “we should do something” texts turn into actual plans, and the calendar fills up fast. This month has a little bit of everything: women-led wine nights, snacky cookbook parties, mobile café pop-ups, coffee classes, cabaret chaos, and a full-on Holi color festival at Seattle Center.
If you’re trying to leave the house (but only for things worth it), this is a great place to start!
All Month Long: Fresh Bites & New Menus
All month long • Various times
All Blazing Bagels locations
Seattle’s own Blazing Bagels is rolling out a full lineup of new hot breakfast sandwiches, craft sandwiches, side dishes, and snacks… and yes, it’s available at every location!
If you’ve been grabbing the same order on autopilot (we’ve all been there), this is your sign to switch it up. Their team is leaning into heartier, hot options - perfect for those still-chilly March mornings.
This local staple keeps evolving, and we love seeing a hometown favorite continue to experiment and expand what they offer! Make sure to check them out this month!
Women’s History Month Celebrations
March 14th, 2026 • 5-7pm
WeRise Wine Bar
At WeRise Wine Bar, Women’s History Month isn’t just a theme, it’s a chance to spotlight some incredible women. On March 14, they’re hosting winemaker and owner Theodora Lee of Theopolis Vineyards for a special evening dedicated to her story and her wines.
Lee is known for bold, expressive bottles (including her award-winning Petite Sirah) and for carving out space in an industry where Black women have long been underrepresented. Expect a guided tasting, conversation with the winemaker herself, and an intimate wine bar setting that makes it easy to ask questions and stay for another glass.
It’s a chance to support women shaping the wine world right now - and taste something memorable while you’re at it!
March 17th, 2026 • 6-7:30pm
The Barrel Thief
Spend St. Patrick’s Day a little differently at The Barrel Thief, where they’re hosting Jill Kuehler, founder of Freeland Spirits, the award-winning, women-owned PNW distillery.
Your ticket includes:
A welcome cocktail and snacks
A full tasting flight (Cask Strength Bourbon, Wheated Bourbon, Rye, two gins, and Chai Spice Liqueur)
St. Patrick’s Day Bingo (yes, really)
Bottle sales to support women-owned businesses
It’s storytelling, spirits, and community all in one. We’ll always show up for women backing women - especially when there’s bourbon involved1
Coffee Culture, But Make It Community
March 8th, 2026 • 11am-3pm
Fairview Market Hall
Hosted by Fairview Market Hall and Bonhomie Coffee, THE BLOCK is a love letter to Seattle’s mobile café scene.
On March 8th, you can sample drinks and bites from standout mobile operators like Yoks Cafe, My Favorite Ice Cream Co, Muni Cafe, Anh Oi Bake Shop, and more - all in one place!
What we love most? This event prioritizes businesses that operate exclusively as mobile food and beverage concepts. It’s scrappy, creative, and very Seattle. If you’ve been meaning to explore beyond your usual coffee shop rotation, this is the place to discover your new favorite!
If you’ve ever wondered how coffee pros actually “taste” coffee, Seattle Coffee Gear is opening up the process. This hands-on cupping workshop walks you through:
Fragrance and aroma evaluation
Tasting techniques
Flavor note identification
How roast level, origin, and processing impact what’s in your cup
You’ll leave better equipped to brew at home and maybe a little more opinionated about your beans (in a good way).
Social Dining & Tasting Events
March 6th, 2026 • 6-10pm
Supra Dinner Society
Supra Dinner Society is hosting a toasting dinner inspired by the Republic of Georgia, where 20 strangers gather for unlimited wine, shared plates, and a traditional toast-led evening.
It’s designed to be casual, welcoming, and connection-forward. If your 2026 goal was “meet new people without it feeling forced,” this might be your move. It feels so refreshing to put your phone down and actually clinking glasses with someone new.
March 25th, 2026 • 6-9pm
1 Hotel Seattle
Head to 1 Hotel Seattle for an aperitivo-style celebration with Marissa Mullen, bestselling author and founder of That Cheese Plate, as she launches her new cookbook I’ll Bring the Apps!.
The evening centers around bites, boards, and bowls inspired directly by the book, plus custom cocktails mixed just for the occasion. It’s designed to feel more like a beautifully hosted party than a formal book event - snack-forward, social, and easy to settle into. You can preorder your copy with your ticket and have it signed and personalized in person (and yes, you can grab extras for gifts).
March 7th, 2026 • From 12pm
Thomas Family Farm
Just outside the city, Thomas Family Farm hosts Snohomish’s original wine tasting event in partnership with the Snohomish Chamber of Commerce.
Expect 20+ wineries alongside beer, spirits, and kombucha, plus a VIP experience with exclusive tastings, pairings, and a swag bag. It’s less formal sit-down dinner, more roam-and-sip energy - bring a few friends and make an afternoon of it.
Stage Shows & Community Celebrations
March 12th & 13th @ 7pm & March 14th @ 6pm and 9pm
Triple Door
Head to The Triple Door for a variety show that’s anything but ordinary.
Misfit Cabaret’s CIRCUS blends aerialists, drag clowns, burlesque, rock ‘n’ roll, and original music by founder Kat Robichaud into one wild, genre-defying night. It’s theatrical, a little mischievous, and deeply rooted in giving underground artists space to thrive.
If you’ve been craving a night out that’s bold and unexpected, this is it.
March 28th, 2026 • 4-10pm
Mural Amphitheatre
Hosted by AmPowering at the Mural Amphitheater, this free (registration required) Holi celebration is one of the most vibrant events of the season.
Wear white if you’re planning to jump in (and don’t mind leaving rainbow-streaked). Proceeds support AmPowering’s #FeedTheNeed initiative, providing meals to thousands of neighbors weekly.
It’s joyful, high-energy, and a reminder of how powerful cultural celebration can be when the whole city shows up.
March is doing what Seattle does best: bringing people together over good food, thoughtful drinks, live performance, and culture.
At Pao, we’ll always root for the spots and organizers who pour intention into what they’re building - especially the women-led, independently run, community-first ones. If you check any of these out, tell someone about it. Better yet, bring a friend!
