Things to do in Seattle in February: events, food & culture
February in Seattle is quieter by design - and that’s where its charm lives. It’s the month of intentional plans: intimate classes, thoughtful gatherings, and nights out that feel curated rather than chaotic. The kind of experiences that reward curiosity and a willingness to leave the house, even when it’s raining.
This month’s events lean into what Seattle does best: celebrating craft, culture, and community. Think hands-on workshops led by people who really know their stuff, markets that spotlight local makers, immersive art worlds, and a few moments of romance (both planned and accidental).
Galentine’s, Valentine’s & Love-Adjacent Things
February 3rd, 2026 • 6:30pm
Pomegranate Bistro
This one’s for the group chat! Pomegranate Bistro is hosting a hands-on Galentine’s night where you and your friends get to make spa-worthy hand cream, lip balm, and other self-care treats from scratch. It’s part workshop, part excuse to slow down and do something together.
Expect sipping, laughing, and leaving with luxurious goodies you actually made yourselves. Self-care is better when it’s shared, and this feels like a thoughtful way to kick off February.
February 8th-16th, 2026
Mioposto
Mioposto’s heart-shaped pizzas are back for Valentine’s Week, and honestly, we love this tradition. From February 8–16, they’re serving their iconic heart pies (cheese, margherita, or pepperoni) and donating 20% of sales to the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project.
Dine in, take out, or surprise-deliver one to someone you love. It’s romantic, it’s cheesy (literally), and it supports an important local cause (which is our favorite combo).
February 14th, 2026 • 9pm-2am
The Shop, 2233 6th Avenue South
Jan Blomqvist makes his Seattle debut with a deeply emotive live performance that sits somewhere between the dancefloor and your inner world. This Valentine’s Day night is less about roses and more about connection - intentional energy, immersive production, and a crowd tuned to the same frequency.
Come solo, come with someone, come ready to move. This is one of those nights that feels like a shared moment rather than just a show!
Food & Drink Experiences
February 20th, 2026 • From 7pm (Arrive 15 mins before)
Sip House
If you’ve ever wanted to learn pasta from scratch, this is a great place to start. Guided by Chef Jason, you’ll make fresh four-cheese ravioli by hand, learn two classic sauces (pesto-Alfredo and basil marinara), and pick up tips you can actually use at home.
It’s designed for all skill levels, collaborative by nature, and very approachable. BYOB is welcome - which we love. You’ll leave full, proud, and probably ready to host a dinner party.
Chef Miranda makes sushi feel way less intimidating in this hands-on class built specifically for beginners. You’ll learn how to prep rice, choose ingredients, and roll three different styles: California roll, cucumber roll, and a spicy tuna hand roll.
This is a great pick for a date night, hanging out with friends, or family outing - structured enough to learn something new, but relaxed enough to be genuinely fun!
February 10th, 2026 • 6pm-8pm
Friday Afternoon Tea
Led by tea shop owner Friday Elliott, this workshop dives into flavor theory, tea chemistry, and the art of blending. After a guided talk, you’ll create, taste, and take home your own custom tea blend - with February’s class focusing on elegant, romantic flavors.
It’s thoughtful, nerdy in the best way, and perfect if you love slowing down and learning the “why” behind what you’re sipping. Get your tickets here!
February 26th, 2026 • 7pm-10pm
Palisade
Palisade is hosting a five-course, chef-curated dinner paired with bold, expressive wines from Orin Swift Vineyards. Each course is designed to complement the wines, making this a thoughtful, slow-paced dining experience that’s ideal for a special night out or anyone who loves when food and wine are treated with equal care.
This is one of those evenings where you sit, sip, and let the pacing do the work, so you can enjoy the pairings in a beautiful setting.
Social Plans (low Pressure, High Potential)
Single Cocktail Lovers Meet Up
February 10th, 2026 • 5:30-7:30pm
Laurel, 1500 East Olive Way
No awkward icebreakers, no forced mingling - just a cocktail bar where everyone else is also single. Show up, grab a drink (or mocktail), and chat if you feel like it. Or don’t. That’s the whole point.
It’s refreshingly low-pressure and feels more like a normal night out that just happens to make meeting people a little easier!
Arts, Markets & Music Events
February 14th, 2026 • 7pm-2am
Sam’s Tavern, 400 9th ave N, Seattle, WA 98109
Dilly Disco is taking over Sam’s Tavern for a Valentine’s night that’s less candlelit dinner, more sweaty dance floor. Expect a house-music-forward lineup, back-to-back sets, and a crowd that’s here to move, whether you’re rolling in post-date, out with friends, or proudly flying solo.
It’s playful, high-energy, and very much about letting loose. If your Valentine’s plans need a second act, this is a solid one. Get your tickets here!
February 7th, 2026 • 4-10pm
Magnuson Park Hangar 30, 6310 Northeast 74th Street
Seattle Night Market’s 5th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration transforms Hangar 30 into a vibrant winter market one last time. Expect 100+ local artisans, creators, and eateries, with a special focus on 50+ BIPOC-owned small businesses.
It’s festive, bustling, and an excellent place to wander, snack, and even shop for meaningful Valentine’s gifts!
All month (Jan 30 – March 27)
Base Camp Studios 2
Merlantis is an immersive, aquatic-themed art installation that drops you into a submerged mermaid city built from recycled human materials.
Equal parts fantasy and environmental commentary, the space features detailed underwater environments and interactive elements, with select dates including live performances. You won’t want to miss it!
February doesn’t need to be overbooked. A few good plans go a long way, especially when they’re local, thoughtful, and easy to say yes to. These are the kinds of events that make winter in Seattle feel a little more interesting.
