Denver in February 2026: A Guide to Local Events & Experiences
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to make February more interesting, this is it! Denver has lots to offer and it’s showing up this month with creative classes, indulgent tastings, and events that feel way more fun than staying in (even when it’s cold out).
These are the events we’ve bookmarked, shared in our group chats, and planned our weeks around. They’re all hosted by local spots we’re excited to support!
Valentine’s & Galentine’s Energy
February 13th, 2026 • From 4:30-8:30pm
Waldschänke Ciders & Coffee
If candlelit dinners aren’t your thing, this one’s for you! Waldschänke is hosting a wildly indulgent pairing night featuring four Swiss-style ciders, handmade chocolate truffles, and specialty cheeses - all thoughtfully matched. Add a live performance by The One And Only Jon Ham and you’ve got a Valentine’s celebration that feels creative, cozy, and very on-brand for Denver.
Come hungry: their European-inspired kitchen will be serving food to purchase if you want to keep the night going.

Angelos Taverna
This is Galentine’s done right! Head to Angelo’s banquet room for a four-course lunch by Executive Chef Scott Hybbeneth, each dish is paired with cocktails featuring Bear Creek Distillery spirits. Two of those pairings turn into hands-on cocktail-making moments with the mixology team, so expect to learn a thing or two while sipping.
Tickets include gratuity and fees. Heads up: the banquet room is upstairs and not wheelchair accessible.

One Shot Back
Low-pressure, high-fun energy. This self-guided DIY night lets you decorate your own claw clip using charms, gems, glitter, and ribbons - while enjoying a Valentine’s-themed cocktail and a sweet treat.
No instructor, no rules, just vibes. Perfect for besties who want to hangout, try delicious cocktails, and leave with something cute!

Hands-On Classes & Creative Nights
February 10th, 2026 • 2-4:30pm
Novo Coffee Roastery HQ on 3008 Larimer Street
For anyone who’s ever wanted to nerd out on coffee, this small-group class is the move. Hosted at Novo’s Roastery HQ, you’ll learn the science behind milk steaming and practice creating basic latte art using a commercial espresso machine.
Classes are capped at four people, so it’s intimate, focused, and perfect for skill-building. Please arrive on time, and skip strong scents to keep the tasting environment on point.
February 7th, 2026 • 1-3pm
1921 Youngfield St suite 200
This is one of those “learn something new, leave feeling accomplished” kind of nights. Hosted with Salta Events, you’ll create a fresh floral centerpiece while sipping on three Galentine’s-themed cocktails or mocktails. Everything’s provided (from ingredients to tools) and you’ll go home with recipes and hosting tips, too!
Great for dates, friends, or solo creatives who like their nights out hands-on.

Corvus Coffee Roasters
Coffee lovers, this is your sign to explore the world of tea. Corvus teams up with Hugo Tea for an educational tasting that breaks down tea classification - from oxidation levels to production methods and regions. You’ll taste several teas, learn how to identify them, and leave with a better understanding of what you’re actually drinking.

Food & Drink Events
February 11th, 2026 • 5:30-6:30pm
The Nickel
Held in The Study on the second Wednesday of the month, this intimate tasting celebrates women in winemaking. From 5:30, guests enjoy a curated wine flight, charcuterie bites, and stories behind each bottle.
It’s welcoming, educational, and a great midweek reset. $15 per person (plus tax). Reserve your spot and raise a glass to women in wine!
February 9th, 2026 • 4-5pm
Nana’s Dim Sum & Dumplings
History, but make it bourbon. This guided tasting walks you through Old Forester’s Whiskey Row series:1870, 1897, 1910, and 1920. You’ll start with a welcome cocktail and end the night going home with a bottle of Old Forester 1910 Old Fine Whiskey.
A solid pick for whiskey fans who like learning as much as sipping. Make sure to secure your spot now!
February 25th, 2026 • 5:30-7:30pm
Just BE Kitchen - Lo Hi
Only in Denver, honestly. Just BE Kitchen is opening up their tortilla-making process for a night of friendly competition, flour clouds, and very good food. Watch staff battle it out for the title of fastest tortilla roller, place your bets, and enjoy a “Tortilla Done 3 Ways” buffet.
Guests can also purchase a ticket to join the hands-on competition and take home freshly rolled tortillas. Expect chaos, carbs, and a great time.
February 8th, 2026 • 2:30-8pm
Spangalang Brewery
Spangalang is hosting an all-day Super Bowl Sunday watch party with BBQ on the grill, cold drinks, and plenty of screens for the game. Festivities start at 3pm with Benito Trivia, music, and drink specials, warming up into a lively halftime dance party complete with coquito and mojitos.
Watching from home? You can pre-order a BBQ Party Platter to-go for game-day pickup at noon. General admission doesn’t guarantee seating, so arrive early or reserve a table if you want a guaranteed spot. Get your tickets here!
